In June of 2022 the Caribbean had a hotel occupancy of 63.0%. Compared to 2021 (49.1%) this is a significant increase of 28.3%. However, if we look at the occupancy data pre-COVID (June 2019), this is an increase of 3.28%.

The average daily rate also increased with 15.4% compared to 2021, to $272,50. Compared to June of 2019, this is also an increase of 37.0%.

As for the revenue per available room, numbers indicate a significant increase of 48.2% compared to 2021. From $115,95 in 2021 to $171,78 in 2022. Compared to the pre-COVID data, the revenue per available room increased with 41.5%.
